My name is Rhys, I’m 18 years old and I currently attend secondary school in Kirkintilloch.
I love sports and regularly visit City of Glasgow College in the evening with my friends to play cricket and basketball. I like to chat with my friends and enjoy volunteering in school with events.
I wanted to take my ideas out into the public to make Additional Support Needs children and young people heard so we have our voice and opinions considered in matters that affect us. I feel it is a good thing for me to do and get young people’s ideas and share them with other people who could make change. I would like to spread more awareness of ASN and try to help get people more support in our schools.
Three important issues I’m passionate about: Spreading awareness of ASN issues and help with support in local schools, expansion of extracurricular clubs and waste and recycling.
Fun fact: My mum called me Rhys and I have a brother called Pryce!
