Our Right Here, Right Now campaign persuaded the Scottish Government to incorporate the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) into Scots law before 2021.
In May 2019, the Scottish Government opened a public consultation to look at how a new Act could incorporate the UNCRC into the law of Scotland.
We held an interactive event in Edinburgh to gather young people’s views to inform our consultation response. This Discussion Day was attended by 43 MSYPs from 23 local authorities, and 9 of our 11 National Voluntary Organisations.
