Jamie is SYPs Chief Executive. He’s responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation, being the link between the SYP board and the staff team, charity governance and delivering on our strategic plan supporting young people to realise their rights and have their voices heard by decision-makers.

Jamie graduated from the University of Dundee with a BA (Hons) in Community Education and has been a youth worker for 17 years. He has worked for SYP for 11 years and was previously Deputy Chief Executive. Jamie has recently started a Masters at the University of Dundee in Community Education.

Jamie is a member of the CLD Standards Council Executive Committee and a trustee of the Dynamic Earth Educational Trust. He is a keen reader and wild swimmer.
