With nominations now open, SYP invites you to nominate the MSYPs or Support Workers you feel deserve to be recognised, and have made an impact in your life, your area, your organisation, or for all of Scotland.
The annual SYP Awards recognise and celebrate the amazing work of Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament, and their Support Workers.
The SYP Awards winners will be announced at a special event in Aberdeen on Saturday 7th October 2023.
There are nine award categories, and you can find out more about each category in the nomination guidelines below:
The categories for the Awards are:
- MSYP of the Year
- One to Watch
- Human Rights Defender
- Teamwork Champions
- Community Champion
- Participation Champion
- Voluntary Organisation Champion
- Campaigning Champion
- Youth Work Champion
Anyone can submit a nomination by filling in this form before 9am on Tuesday 5th September 2023.
After the nomination period has ended, an independent panel of judges, including a former MSYP, will meet to discuss each of the nominations and to select the winners.
