Shannon is a Participation and Programmes Officer at the Scottish Youth Parliament. This involves leading on the Mind Yer Time project and the Learning for Sustainability project.

Shannon is also working on SYP’s inclusion programme, with a focus on increasing accessibility for young people with disabilities and other seldom heard groups of young people as well as supporting SYP’s programme of events.

Away from her work, she loves to travel and explore new cultures and places, especially through their cuisine and music. Food and music are two of her favourite things and combining them with exploring a new place is Shannon’s idea of a perfect weekend.
