Democracy Day

Democracy Days will introduce participants to the work of SYP, why we were created, who we represent and our campaign successes. This session will also provide a space for participants to engage in mock debates, discuss current affairs and/or create their own mini campaigns on issues affecting them.  Our aim in this session is to show young people how they can have their voices heard and empower them to take action!

SYP’s Democracy Day can be bespoke to your school, youth club or youth organisation. This can be delivered to young people aged 12 – 25, in small class sizes or large assembly groups. 

This session lasts between 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins.
