As a fundamentally rights-based organisation, our values are grounded in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). We want to make all of Scotland’s young people aware of their rights and to familiarise them with the UNCRC.

This session has been created to make young people aware of, and promote, young peoples’ rights and to empower individuals to defend their own rights and those of others. Participants of this session will discuss the history of human rights and the role of empathy, debate real cases of human right breaches and work together to come up with creative ways to communicate about and advocate for their rights.

This session is ideal for a group of 30 young people or less and can last between 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins.
