MSYP for Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn

I’m 16 and currently in S5 at secondary school. I have a passion for politics and working hard to serve my constituents.

This is my first term as an MSYP. I wanted to become an MSYP because I was passionate about politics and delivering change for young people. I was intrigued by politics from the moment I heard about it in primary school, but didn’t really become interested until the past couple of years. I felt like the views of young men in particular were not being heard enough, so it encouraged me to take action and run for MSYP.

Three important issues I’m passionate about: Health and wellbeing, the economy and tackling anti-social behaviour.

Fun fact: I hope to one day start my own business.
