Hi, I’m Olivia! I’m currently studying Spanish and Politics at university, as I love learning languages and politics is a subject I find endlessly interesting. In my own time, I attend dance classes and love reading any non-fiction book I can get my hands on.

I became an MSYP because I had a lot of issues I cared about but wasn’t sure how to advocate for them. Through SYP I gained a platform to do that and made a lot of amazing friends along the way. I love SYP because you have the opportunity to meet young people from all different walks of life, and what unites us our drive to make Scotland a better place.

Three important issues I’m passionate about: Sustainable fashion, improving sexual education and de-colonising international development.

Fun fact: My favourite artist is Florence and the Machine.
