Jamie is SYPs Chief Executive and Company Secretary. He’s responsible for the day to day running of the organisation, being the link between the SYP board and the staff team, charity governance and delivering on our strategic plan supporting young people to realise their rights and have their voices heard by decision makers.

Jamie graduated from the University of Dundee with a BA (Hons) in Community Education and has been a youth worker for 17 years. He has worked for SYP for 10 years and has been Deputy Chief Executive for the last 8 years, being promoted to Chief Executive in 2023.

Jamie is also a member of the CLD Standards Council Executive Committee and a trustee of the Dynamic Earth Educational Trust. He is a keen reader and wild swimmer.
